The southern MB tornadoes of August 5, 2006



What happened

On August 5, 2006, a long-lived supercell formed over Lake Manitoba and continued into Ontario. Numerous reports of severe weather were received with this storm, including extensive tornado damage and hail up to 5 cm in diameter.
