The cyclic, multiply-tornadic supercell of April 14, 2012
What happened
On April 14, 2012, a huge outbreak of severe weather happened over the southern and centrail plains states. Many tornadoes were reported. Of particular interest was the RADAR presentation of a storm that moved from northern Oklahoma to southern Kansas. The storm moved fairly close to one of the RADARs, and its mesocyclone was seen to occlude numerous times. The RADAR imagery from this storm is presented here.
