The EF2 tornado in southwest Manitoba of July 27, 2015
What happened?
July 27, 2015 was a classic setup for tornadic supercells in the southern Prairies. A tornadic supercell did end up hitting southwestern Manitoba, producing EF2 damage. Tornado warnings were ongoing for about 3 hours, and indeed sporadic tornado reports were being received for that same time.
